Sales and Service Specialist Location: 660 Yonge Street, Toronto Type: Full-time / Part-time
As a Sales and Service Specialist at our pet store, you'll be the friendly face and helpful hand that ensures every customer—and every pet—has a great experience. This is a customer-facing role that requires a warm personality, strong communication skills, and a genuine love for animals.
Greet and assist customers in a warm, professional, and enthusiastic manner
Process sales transactions accurately through the POS system (cash handling, credit/debit payments)
Receive, unpack, and organize new inventory shipments
Handle online orders: picking, packing, and preparing items for delivery or pickup
Monitor product expiration dates and ensure stock rotation
Assist in minor pet care tasks (if applicable), such as handling small animals or checking adoption inquiries
Support team members and contribute to a positive team atmosphere
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong sales and basic sales management abilities
Prior experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
High school diploma or equivalent required; Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written)
Familiarity with WeChat and other digital communication tools
Basic photography and photo-editing skills (for social media or product content)
