A Senior Accountant is responsible for performance of general ledger accounting, preparation of financial accounts, monthly opening and closing of accounts and preparation of balance sheets. The ideal candidate demonstrates initiative in understanding process flows and controls. Preparation of compilation, review and audit engagements

Preparation of corporate, personal and trust income tax returns

Preparation of tax slips (T3, T4, T5, etc.)

Direct field work and inform manager(s) of the engagement status

Strong technical audit, accounting and tax skills

University degree in commerce or accounting

• 2 to 5 years' experience at public accounting firm
• 2 years of audit and assurance experience
• Attained CPA designation
• Working knowledge of CaseWare, Caseview, Taxprep, QuickBooks Online, Simply Accounting
