Content Writing Specialist

Cella by Randstad Digital is searching for a Content Editor on behalf of our client, a leader in the financial services industry. In this role, you will join a high-performing digital design "pod" dedicated to the Wealth Management portfolio. You will work alongside UX Designers, Visual Designers, and Design Leads to craft clear, user-centered content for high-visibility digital products and public-facing web experiences.
Path to Growth: This role features a strong track record of contract extensions and potential for future permanent conversion based on performance and business needs.
Contribute directly to the digital evolution of private wealth experiences for a major financial institution.
Hybrid Flexibility: Work from a state-of-the-art office at 81 Bay Street just once a week (Wednesdays) plus one Friday per month.

Market-leading rates for specialized digital content talent.
Content Creation: Draft and edit clear, concise, and user-first digital content for net-new projects and site-wide enhancements.
Collaborative Design: Partner with UX and Visual designers to ensure content aligns with design principles and enhances the overall end-to-end user journey.
Editorial Excellence: Manage structured workflows, including maintaining copy decks, version control, and leading content walkthroughs for stakeholder alignment.
Apply plain-language principles and ensure all content is accessible and WCAG compliant.
CMS Coordination: Collaborate with web authors and designers to review or guide page builds within an enterprise Content Management System (CMS).
Stakeholder Management: Navigate complex regulatory, legal, and marketing requirements to advocate for the best user-facing content decisions.
Digital Expertise: 3+ years of experience writing, editing, or designing content for public-facing digital products, websites, or applications.
Cross-Functional Experience: 3+ years working within UX or product design teams, collaborating closely with design leads and visual specialists.
Proven experience applying rigorous editorial standards, including proofreading, brand voice consistency, and plain-language writing.
Strong understanding of inclusive writing principles and creating WCAG-compliant digital content.
Technical Familiarity: Experience working with enterprise CMS platforms (AEM preferred) to review or guide digital page builds.
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, a self-directed work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple tasks within an evolving project-based structure.
