A leading financial institution is seeking a strategic and hands-on Content Writer / Content Strategist to join their Business Application Management (BAM) team. This role is central to a major modernization initiative, focusing on updating internal documentation and user guidance for core credit applications. The successful candidate will transition outdated materials into modern, user-centric resources, including keystroke guides and job aids. This is an ideal opportunity for a professional who enjoys defining content strategy from the ground up and elevating documentation standards within a complex technical environment.
High Visibility: Support critical enterprise-wide credit platforms and high-priority business banking projects.
Influence the content strategy from the ground up, moving beyond simple execution to define long-term standards.

Path to Permanent: This contract offers a strong potential for extension or permanent conversion based on performance and business needs.

Rewrite and update keystroke guides, user guides, and process documentation for core credit systems, ensuring all materials are accurate and accessible.
Content Strategy & UX: Develop and implement standardized naming conventions, field descriptions, and instructional patterns to improve user experience consistency across applications.
SharePoint Redesign: Reorganize and maintain a modern, intuitive SharePoint site to ensure team content is structured logically and kept current.
Change Management: Partner with the Change Management practice to draft communications, readiness materials, and training content for system rollouts.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Business Analysts, and technical teams to validate content accuracy and align with business objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Technical Writing, Copywriting, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years in content writing, content strategy, or technical documentation.
Technical Skills: * Proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
Experience creating training materials, job aids, and system process documentation.
Ability to manage multiple content tracks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Preferred Assets: * Background in Financial Services, banking, or credit/lending systems.
Experience in UX writing or standardizing UI labels and terminology.
