Within the assigned territory, establish and grow strong relationships with existing EQ3 accounts while identifying opportunities to expand business. Act as a trusted advisor by managing product performance, optimizing floor placement, and providing proactive recommendations to maximize sales productivity.
This role requires a deep understanding of EQ3 product categories, merchandising strategies, and retail drivers. The Account Manager will regularly visit showrooms, engage with key stakeholders, and support business growth through both fieldwork and head office activities.
Travel is required (up to 20%) for showroom visits, client meetings, and trade events. The role is accountable for delivering a minimum of 10% annual growth through expansion of floor presence and increased productivity across accounts.
In addition to field responsibilities, the role includes administrative and strategic work from the head office, including performance analysis, customer communication, and support of product launches and promotions. * This position offers a competitive base salary plus a commission structure designed to reward high performance and results.
1) Sales
Review monthly sales, category performance, and product performance per account and prioritize recommendations
Maintain accurate customer data and performance metrics
Develop strong product knowledge across upholstery, case goods, accessories, and materials
Communicate customer feedback to Product Development and internal teams
3) Training and Product Information
Support clients with product knowledge to enhance in-store execution
4) Marketing:
Support clients in promoting the EQ3 brand using available tools and marketing initiatives
Collaborate with Marketing to support campaign execution and creative needs
Provide regular reporting, business reviews, and performance insights
6) Technological and Business Systems Management
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI)
GPS Data Cubes
Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of progressive sales or account management experience
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends
• Experience in the furniture or retail industry is an asset
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory
• Fluency in French an asset
