Join the True North Sports + Entertainment Team. True North Sports + Entertainment is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our Finance & Administration team as an Accounts Payable Clerk.
In this role, you will be responsible for capturing and recording the day-to-day accounts payable activities across all True North entities. You'll play an integral part in ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable legislation, while supporting a collaborative finance team committed to excellence and continuous improvement.

- Process invoices and ensure expenses are accurately coded and allocated.
- Prepare timely payment disbursements.
- Record all invoices in the accounting system with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Complete monthly and periodic reconciliations, supporting schedules, and journal entries as part of the financial statement preparation process.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax legislation, including Goods and Services Tax (GST), Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), and Provincial Sales Tax (PST).
- Assist with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis.
- Perform other duties as required to support the Finance function.
What we need from you
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to accuracy, attention to detail, and sound financial practices.
- The ability to effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- A combination of relevant education and/or work experience, with an emphasis in accounting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software, along with strong computer skills.
- A proactive, dependable, and self-motivated approach to managing both routine and non-routine tasks while consistently meeting deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in being part of a Finance & Administration team dedicated to providing exceptional service across all areas of the organization.
