Our client is a reputable not-for-profit organization (NPO) doing exceptionally important work for the people and communities of BC. Reporting to the Senior Accountant and the Director of Finance. The new Accountant will contribute to the integrity of the organization’s accounting records. The Acct will support the Sr Acct with full-cycle accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, month/quarter/year-end, financial reporting (under ASPNO), budgeting & forecasting, cash-flow management, etc. On behalf of our client, SWIM is seeking an accounting professional with at least 3 years of relevant work experience and a strong foundation in full-cycle accounting. Must have work experience doing full-cycle corporate accounting and operational accounting in NPO, public sector, or private sector. Foundational training in a public practice accounting firm is preferred, but not required. Base salary in the range of $62,000 to $76,000, commensurate with level of accounting skills, qualifications, and experience. This is currently a full-time in-office role, but there is opportunity for some hybrid flexibility in future (please discuss with SWIM).
