Senior Hospitality Accountant

Job Responsibility:
Pinnacle International is looking for a senior hospitality accountant to join our head-office team in Vancouver, BC. This position will be involved in the financial operations and month end process for our hotels and restaurants. We are looking for someone who can work hard to meet deadlines, with a passion for working in a fast-paced, growing organization!
Responsibilities:- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements- Perform and review bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes- Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments- Conduct account analysis and provide recommendations for improvements- Assist with financial year-end processes and provide necessary documentation
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field- CPA certification preferred- At least 3 years' experience in an accounting role within a professional organization;- Experience with multiple accounting systems (SAGE 300 or Yardi) is an asset;- Moderate to advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation;- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and strong communication and interpersonal skills- Nice, helpful attitude with an outgoing personality!
