Leavitt Machinery is looking for a motivated Sales & Rentals Representative to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta . As the Sales & Rentals Representative, you will have the ability to strengthen and grow the construction customer base in your assigned territory. This position offers a significant opportunity for advancement, career growth, and learning for an aspiring equipment sales professional.

As the Sales & Rentals Representative your key responsibilities will include:

Leading the sales and rental strategy for your assigned territory, and managing the related sales plan

Travelling to branches within your territory, conducting quality meetings with existing customers, and generating opportunities within prospective accounts

Developing business relationships with top customer accounts by proactively identifying sales opportunities and presenting innovative solutions to customers

Turning leads into sales, including successfully negotiating pricing and closing deals

Providing input for the successful management of target customer opportunities while ensuring alignment with the overall account strategy

Coordinating with product experts to identify and capitalize on expansion and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts

Conducting follow-ups with customers regarding orders, quotes, and services requested

2-3 years of experience in B2B sales is considered an asset

• Post-secondary education in Sales, Business Management, or a related discipline is considered an asset
• Strong relationship-building skills, negotiation skills, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service skills and a genuine interest in identifying and presenting innovative solutions for customers
• Excellent organizational skills and planning skills, as well as the ability to work effectively independently and as a part of a team
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel
• Previous experience working with CRM system considered an asset
• Ability to travel within Canada as required
