Our company is looking for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that management is kept up-to-date with project status and all relevant information related to daily activities;
  • Plan, design, and run email campaigns that optimize key performance statistics;
  • Organize and manage projects including websites, redesigns, collateral and campaigns;
  • Provide administrative support to the management team;
  • Prepare for and facilitate client meetings, presentations and day-to-day correspondence;
  • Write and assemble project quotes and proposals;
  • Ensure quality of our deliverables through proof reading and testing;
  • Write content for websites and other marketing and communications materials;
  • Manage project timelines and task lists ensuring we are on time and within project scope.

Requirements:

  • Proven and working knowledge in developing, managing, implementing and evaluating communications and public relations strategies;
  • An individual who likes to build new relationships;
  • Self-motivated, organized, and innovative;
  • Analytical skills used to make decisions;
  • Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task;
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Experience in working for a Not-for-Profit organization an asset;
  • In-depth understanding of various social media platforms, including but not limited to: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube;
  • Reliable, independent and able to work flexible hours with minimal supervision or direction;
  • positive, interpersonal friendly behavior with outstanding verbal and written communication skills;
  • Knowledge of local (BC) traditional and online media relations;
  • Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics, MailChimp, and Salesforce or similar;
  • Minimum two to three (2-3) years of direct related work experience;
  • Ability to work in French is considered an asset, as well as additional languages (Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese or Farsi);
  • Strong public speaking skills.
