Our company is looking for a Part-time Media Content Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Manager, develop an annual marketing and communications plan to support the Athletics department’s annual promotional needs;
  • Provide purchase recommendations in the area of communications equipment;
  • Develop training guides related to all web platforms, game day support, and equipment use to assist in onboarding new student staff annually;
  • Track and present stats related to website and social media as required;
  • Assist in the development of internal College media relations with various departments and stakeholders;
  • Develop staff schedules to support the variety of departmental activity including; special events, varsity games, fitness, etc;
  • Develop award and incentive opportunities for Varsity and Recreation promotional outreach giveaways;
  • Ensure Athletics & Recreation is represented at all College outreach opportunities;
  • Oversee the inventory, distribution, and maintenance of all communications equipment, including cameras, video cameras, computers, accessories, etc;
  • Impart technical knowledge regularly to support the growth and development of each student employee, as well as department initiatives;
  • Assist in the interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of all student communications staff.

Requirements:

  • Two years of relevant experience in digital marketing;
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications and various database tools;
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign);
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross functional teams;
  • Understanding of Social Media Platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook);
  • Must be able to manage time in a fast-paced environment where deadlines and projects evolve;
  • Passionate, innovative, driven and a desire to join continuous improvement initiatives within the department;
  • Experience with video production, photography, and photo editing;
  • Excellent customer service and student support;
  • Two year Diploma in Digital Marketing and Design, Design and Advertising, or Marketing;
  • Basic HTML/CSS skills.
