Account Manager (Toronto) Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Account Manager (Toronto) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strategic account plans for key partners, lead business reviews, and recurring check-ins;
- P&L Management: Contribute to and maintain monthly / annual forecasts for portfolio of partners;
- Contribute to growth opportunity identification, qualification, and sales funnel processes;
- Meet or exceed revenue, conversion and penetration targets for existing partners;
- Ongoing teaming with internal Product, Engineering and Data teams to deliver against partner priorities;
- Build custom needs-based, consultative sales presentations;
- Understanding of marketing best practices and ability to influence partner decisions for marketing channel allocation / placement;
- Serve as relationship leader for partners, owning the relationships with their project leaders and across their teams.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of related business experience and a track record of continuous professional development;
- Consistent over-achiever against sales targets / KPIs;
- Travel industry and Financial Services / Lending experience preferred;
- Strong self-starter that takes initiative and identifies opportunities to expand contribution to the organization;
- Excellent verbal & written communications skills (bilingual English / French a plus);
- Trusted Advisor: proven ability to interact with and gain the trust of clients;
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills;
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field from an accredited college or university;
- Demonstrates significant expertise in managing external partner relationships, including business development and growth.
