- Daily Charting.
Requirements:
- Non Violent Crisis Intervention Training; if not in possession of such, this must be acquired within three months;
- Have the ability to work as an effective team member;
- Level One First Aid Certificate; if not in possession of such, this must be acquired within three months;
- Class Four driving license; if not in possession of such, this must be acquired within three months;
- Possess the ability to perform ethically and demonstrate responsible and accountable behaviour;
- Highly responsible;
- Have the ability to communicate effectively and in a caring manner;
- Flexibility concerning work days which can and will encompass weekends and statutory holidays;
- Exhibit confidence in duty delegations and rule enforcement;
- Knowledge of twelve step programs would be an asset;
- Able to work awake over night;
- Be able to respond to crises when needed and report accordingly;
- Possess organizational and time management skills;
- A capacity to communicate and uphold clients rules, duties, and regulation in a polite but assertive manner;
- Possess the capacity for empathy, compassion, active listening, and patience.
