Press Helper Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Press Helper to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Other duties as assigned;
- Change cylinders, sleeves, and other machine parts;
- Ensure bundle and skid counts accurately match customer orders;
- Learn the set-up and maintenance of the stackers;
- Ensure printed copies are stacked neatly into bundles and onto pallets;
- Ability to jog and stack printed paper and bundles to pallets;
- Complete all duties in accordance with our Health and Safety policies and the Occupational Health and Safety Act;
- Assist press operator with press set-up;
- Provides ink and maintains ink viscosity during run;
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Requirements:
- Ability to jog and stack printed paper and bundles to pallets;
- Ability to work days, afternoons and nights;
- Ensure printed copies are stacked neatly into bundles and onto pallets;
- All other duties as assigned;
- Ensure bundle and skid counts accurately match customer orders;
- Learn the set-up and maintenance of the stackers;
- Comfortable working with inks;
- Good problem-solving skills;
- Complete all duties in accordance with our Health and Safety policies and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
