HIRING: KITCHEN LEAD / PIZZERIA MANAGER — TORONTO
Lambretta Pizzeria is looking for an experienced, hands-on restaurant professional to join our kitchen full-time and take a leadership role within our small team.
This is a working position. You will be on the line as part of the regular kitchen team — making pizzas, handling prep and working service — while also helping lead the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
We are not looking for an executive chef , and this is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone with strong restaurant experience who knows how to work a busy line, organize a kitchen and lead by example.
The right person will:
Work the line as a regular part of every shift
Handle daily prep and production
Lead and organize the kitchen during service
Train staff and maintain strong standards
Maintain consistency, quality and portion control
Help manage inventory, ordering and food waste
Keep the kitchen clean, organized and service-ready
Help troubleshoot problems and keep service running smoothly
Contribute ideas for specials, new dishes and occasional menu development
Previous experience as a Kitchen Lead, Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, Senior Cook or similar position is preferred.
Pizza and/or Italian restaurant experience is a strong asset , but we're open to someone from another busy kitchen who has the right experience, work ethic and leadership ability.
We are looking for someone who is fast, organized, dependable and genuinely comfortable working the line . This isn't a desk-management position — we're a small operation and everyone works.
Full-time | Approximately 40 hours/week
Pay: $20–$25/hour, based on experience and capabilities
