Senior Mechanical Engineer For Plant Design Greater Sudbury

As part of the Mine Process & Mine Infrastructure group, you will oversee the engineering of key systems within mining environments. This role involves collaboration with various engineering disciplines while mentoring junior engineers to foster growth. You’ll deliver engineering outputs supporting secure and effective operations across different projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical engineering for mining facilities
- Review high-quality engineering documentation
- Guide technical integration among disciplines
- Mentor and support junior engineering staff
- Conduct design reviews and HAZOP analyses
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Current P.Eng. registration or eligibility
- 10–15 years of relevant experience
- Expertise in plant layouts and equipment design
- Solid leadership in agile project environments
