Erp Systems Analyst (Sagealquemy Search & Consulting (Greater Sudbury)

We are seeking an experienced ERP Systems Analyst to support and optimize a complex enterprise ERP workplace with a primary focus on Sage X3.

This role is ideal for a collaborative and solutions-oriented professional who enjoys improving business processes, supporting critical enterprise applications, and partnering with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Manager, ERP Systems, the ERP Systems Analyst will play a key role in the design, implementation, enhancement, and ongoing support of ERP applications and integrated systems across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Inventory, Logistics, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support, configure, maintain, and optimize Sage X3 ERP modules including Finance, Inventory Management, Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, WMS, and related integrations.
• Analyze business requirements and develop scalable technical and functional solutions to improve operational efficiency and system performance.
• Troubleshoot ERP system issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurring problems.
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Logistics, Inventory, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and accurate system functionality.
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal technical teams to resolve complex ERP and application issues.
• Participate in ERP enhancement initiatives and application development projects throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Perform functional, technical, and performance testing for ERP enhancements, integrations, and system changes.
• Create and maintain documentation related to ERP applications, integrations, configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Support IT governance initiatives by maintaining process controls, audit documentation, and compliance-related evidence.
• Ensure ERP systems adhere to internal security standards, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in improving business processes through automation, optimization, and system enhancements.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in ERP systems analysis, application support, or business systems analysis.
• Hands‑on experience supporting and configuring Sage X3 ERP.
• Strong understanding of ERP modules related to Finance, Inventory, Procurement, Sales, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain operations.
• Experience supporting ERP integrations and enterprise application environments.
• Working knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
• Familiarity with IT operational frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT.
• Experience working with enterprise ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience supporting multi‑site or global enterprise environments is considered an asset.
• Experience in regulated industries or publicly traded organizations is an asset.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
