Abbott Diabetes District Manager Role
Abbott Laboratories
Lead the way in diabetes care as a District Manager at Abbott in Southwestern Ontario. Oversee a dedicated sales team and boost diabetes management efforts in your region.
As a District Manager, you will be pivotal in guiding your sales team towards achieving the highest sales revenue for Abbott’s Diabetes Care Division. This role will engage you with key customers and the healthcare community while managing team performance through strategic action plans and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate communication between head office and sales representatives
• Ensure clarity of expectations and goals among sales team
• Foster relationships with healthcare professionals and key pharmacies
• Monitor and control team expenses and budgets
• Motivate representatives to reach and exceed sales targets
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Health Science
• At least 2 years in a sales leadership position
• 5+ years of relevant sales or marketing experience
• Travel requirement of up to 30% overnight
• Strong relationship-building and communication abilities
