What we are looking for:

We are currently hiring a General Sales Manager for our Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC location. This is a key leadership position within our Sales Department, responsible for driving performance, motivating the sales team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. About the Role:

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the General Sales Manager will lead all aspects of the sales operations—developing sales strategies, managing inventory, coaching sales professionals, and fostering a high-performance culture that supports the dealership's business goals. This is a high-impact role requiring strong leadership, analytical insight, and a customer-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets

• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase new and pre-owned vehicle sales

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track progress, and implement improvement plans as needed

• Oversee inventory management and ensure optimal vehicle mix

• Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction throughout the sales process

• Collaborate with the all departments to ensure smooth transitions and customer retention

• Manage staffing levels, recruitment, and performance evaluations within the sales team

• Stay current with market trends, OEM programs, and competitor activity

Qualifications:

• Proven success in a senior automotive sales leadership role (minimum 3-5 years)

• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Track record of achieving and exceeding sales objectives

• Deep understanding of dealership operations, CRM systems, and sales processes

• Results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement

• Valid OMVIC license and a clean driver's abstract
