Job Description
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports for construction projects from a Project Management perspective.
- Fill in any financial gaps from the Project Management team.
- Monitor and track project costs to ensure adherence to budgets.
- Collaborate with project managers to review and analyze financial performance.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable related to construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Support monthly and year-end financial close processes.
- Assist in preparing forecasts and budgets for upcoming projects.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve project profitability.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Project Accountant should have:
- Experience in financial management within the property or construction industry.
- Familiarity and comfortability with on-site project operations.
- Strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost tracking.
- Proficiency in CMIC, Jonas, or Procore.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work with complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
