Project Manager/Accountant

Job Description

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports for construction projects from a Project Management perspective.
• Fill in any financial gaps from the Project Management team.
• Monitor and track project costs to ensure adherence to budgets.
• Collaborate with project managers to review and analyze financial performance.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable related to construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Support monthly and year-end financial close processes.
• Assist in preparing forecasts and budgets for upcoming projects.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve project profitability.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Accountant should have:

• Experience in financial management within the property or construction industry.
• Familiarity and comfortability with on-site project operations.
• Strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost tracking.
• Proficiency in CMIC, Jonas, or Procore.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work with complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
