Job Description
- 7-10 years of experience preparing and maintaining accurate financial reports for construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers to monitor and manage budgets effectively.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable for assigned projects.
- Perform cost analysis and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
- Reconcile project accounts and investigate variances.
- Assist in preparing project forecasts and cash flow projections.
- Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Project Accountant should have:
- A degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
- Experience in project accounting, preferably within the construction sector.
- Experience working as a project manager.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders.
