Project Accountant

Job Description

• 7-10 years of experience preparing and maintaining accurate financial reports for construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers to monitor and manage budgets effectively.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable for assigned projects.
• Perform cost analysis and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
• Reconcile project accounts and investigate variances.
• Assist in preparing project forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Accountant should have:

• A degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Experience in project accounting, preferably within the construction sector.
• Experience working as a project manager.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders.
