Responsibilities
- Process and submit daily payroll/timecards across multiple operations
- Review payroll reports for accuracy
- Maintain employee records (training, certifications, licensing)
- Handle new hires, layoffs, transfers, and rehires
- Support teams with HeavyJob and other systems
- Track training, safety stats, and compliance reporting
- Order bonds and insurance for projects
- Assist with ELD setup and general administrative support
- Other duties assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years of office/admin experience with payroll exposure
- Strong MS Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Comfortable communicating with field and office staff
- Ability to work independently (self-sufficient)
- Experience with payroll systems, bonds, or insurance
- Exposure to HeavyJob, HeavyBid, or J.D. Edwards
- Background in construction or operations environments
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management
- Clear communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset and adaptability
Compensation Data
Targeting $53,600 to $67,000 base salary
