Description What you’ll be doingYork Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada's Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for a Markham Networking Event Volunteer—someone devoted to giving back to their community, making an impact, and who loves socializing. The Networking Event Volunteer Is Responsible For: ? Coordinating and managing the event schedule, ensuring all sessions, speakers, and activities are appropriately aligned? Oversee registration processes, including managing attendee lists, confirmations, and onsite check-in procedures? Serve as the point person for event execution, overseeing the setup and cleanup of the event site? Handle any logistical issues, attendee inquiries, or on-site challenges in a professional and calm mannerLocation:?Markham Office - 3100 Steeles Ave E, Markham ON L3R 8T3 Date & Time: ? Thursday November 20th, 2025Shift: 3:30pm - 6:30pm Benefits:

Highly organized, detail-orientated and capable of managing multiple tasks Bonus Skills: ? Previous experience in event planning and coordinating?
