Marketing and Sales Representative

Job Responsibility:

This is a contract position that is between 10-20 hours per week only. Must be available for daytime and some evening events.

You will represent the Orbus Brand and provide membership support. Your role will also include membership sales, marketing (social media) and event coordination assistance. Specific duties include:

- Grow member and guest attendance at regular meetings and special events

- Maintain the website, postings, emails, seo, marketing on social media

· Email marketing and develop your skill set to other areas of the social media marketing ·

- Responsible for promoting the company brand online to get more prospective members and guests to attend our events.

- Assist the event planner with coordination, plan and execution of both regular meetings of members and special events

- Grow and sell memberships

- Business administration tasks, such as document management, data entry, and invoicing

- other related duties as may be assigned

You:

A self-starter. You love meeting people and are good at selling. You enjoy event planning and thinking creatively to solve problems. You are confident in your decision-making skills and thrive in undefined work environments.

Experience with social media marketing, SEO is essential.

Experience with event planning and/or project management is preferred.

Experience with website design required.

Required Qualifications:

· High school graduation, supplemented by courses in marketing, social media and general office practices.

· Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

· Strong verbal, written, interpersonal and relationship building skills

· Ability and experience in networking and cultivating relationships.

· Outgoing and unafraid of meeting and engaging with people

· Communications experience with direct marketing systems MailChimp

· Proficiency in basic website maintenance and design

· Excellent customer service skills

· Experience with both virtual and face to face delivery of meetings and event planning

· Previous experience in organizing events

· Social media proficiency

· Enjoyment of graphic design

· Sales experience

Contract length: continuing

Part-time hours: 10-20 per week average time
