Mechanical Layout Design Lead Ausenco

We are expanding our Canadian operations and seeking a skilled Lead Layout Designer who excels in delivering high-quality mechanical layouts. Candidates should have a solid educational background in Mechanical Engineering and at least 15 years of experience in layout design, particularly in mining and heavy industry contexts. Experience with both greenfield and brownfield projects is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and oversee mechanical layouts for various projects
• Produce relevant design deliverables accurately
• Maintain drafting consistency across all projects
• Lead layout design teams to meet deadlines
• Collaborate interdisciplinary on layout planning
Requirements:
• Mechanical Engineering Technician diploma or equivalent
• 15 years’ experience in mechanical design
• Expertise in Autodesk software (2D and 3D)
• Familiarity with mineral processing equipment
• Strong communication and project management capabilities
