Job Description
- Lead pre-construction planning and design processes, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project goals.
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for design-build projects in the construction industry.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion within scope.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain clear communication and project progress.
- Oversee procurement of materials and subcontractor services, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective measures to address any deviations from plans.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards on job sites.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Design Build Project Manager / Estimator should have:
- Proven experience in pre-construction, estimating, and project management within a design build general contracting environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of design-build processes in the buildings construction industry.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software and construction estimating tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration among stakeholders, outgoing / client facing personality.
- A commitment to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
