Cloud-Focused Java Software Engineer

Become a key player as a Cloud-Focused Java Software Engineer in Toronto with hybrid work flexibility. This role blends your extensive Java skills with significant cloud and container development experience. As a 6-month contract position, this role could lead to a full-time opportunity. Candidates must bring at least 10 years of full-stack development expertise and over 5 years in cloud and containerized environments. Ideal candidates will possess excellent problem-solving abilities and a knack for working independently in strategic scenarios. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams to deliver cloud-based solutions
- Full stack development using Java and NodeJS
- Deploy applications using GCP or Azure
- Implement Docker and Kubernetes for application management
- Participate actively in Agile development cycles
- 10+ years in full stack development, particularly Java
- At least 5 years experience in cloud and container technologies
- Proven problem-solving skills for complex development tasks
- Independent work ethic with strong capabilities
- Familiarity with security tools is a plus
