Quality Management Lead in Engineering

Lead engineering quality initiatives that ensure excellence. Utilize your experience to challenge norms and drive continuous improvement for effective processes. You'll be a key player in managing quality standards within engineering teams. Your responsibilities will include performing audits, supporting inspections, and managing engineering quality issues as part of a collaborative effort. The focus will be on enhancing processes through innovative REX initiatives to reduce non-quality costs drastically. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure engineering teams apply key processes
- Conduct audits and support inspections effectively
- Challenge and review engineering management plans
- Oversee Critical Item Assessment (CIA) initiatives
- Lead improvements in engineering practices via REX
- Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 5-10 years in quality management positions
- Knowledge of rail industry standards beneficial
- Proven experience in team management
- Proficient in audit and risk analysis tools
