Chef Manager Remote Site

Grow your career with a company that shares your passion! Our Energy & Resources Division has an exciting new opportunity to join the Sodexo team as our next  Chef Manager  located in Timmins. You will be required to work with a rotation of 14 days in camp/14 days out. Sodexo will provide flights from Moncton.

Salary : $80,000-$85,000

Job Description

How You’ll Make an Impact:   

• Manage food service operations while leading a dynamic culinary team
• Oversight of multiple food outlets and catering in addition to main kitchen operations
• Oversee cost control and budgeting
• Hire, train and develop culinary team
• Use creativity in menu planning
• Drive a standard and consistency in food and food service delivery
• Create a safe, inclusive workplace environment
• Build and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship including high levels of client and customer satisfaction and account retention; strong interpersonal relations; and foster a strong safety culture

Qualifications

What You’ll Need to Succeed: 

• Red Seal certified required
• Proven experience managing high volume Food & Beverage departments
• Ability to work to high standards, policies, and procedures
• Must possess strong team building skills: friendly, outgoing, customer service oriented
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Experience with Human Resources
•  Valid driver’s license
