The Role and Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Superintendent, you will have a role in operations of site activities while managing the construction of high-profile projects. The primary responsibilities of this role will include assisting in the organization and coordination activities of your crew on-site to oversee manpower, equipment, and materials. The Assistant Superintendent will assist in responsibilities that include, schedules and productivity, cost control, quantity reporting, forecasting, safety, and quality management. Planning and implementing site logistics and advising senior management of potential problems, interferences or schedule difficulties while assisting in circumventing/resolving such conflicts is essential in this role.
- 4 years' experience running jobs in Construction (Highrise)
- Interior deficiencies and managing trades
- Must be able to read drawings
- Knowledge of construction processes involved in High rise projects, including contracts, scheduling, and quality control
- Understanding of cost management processes, planning, and scheduling
- Working knowledge of computers and experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
- Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
