Business Development Lead - chambord

POSITION OVERVIEW

In this role, you’ll lead the development and management of customer accounts—primarily within the Canadian region—with some global engagement as needed. You’ll work closely with the North American sales team to provide training, share product updates, and serve as the subject matter expert. Your responsibilities will include identifying client needs, recommending tailored solutions, staying current on the latest technology and industry trends, and communicating effectively with clients. You’ll manage products from OEMs, collaborate with the pricing and inventory teams, and support overall portfolio strategy. As a key member of Alchemy’s global sales team, you’ll also work with leadership to develop and deliver strategic initiatives, uncover growth opportunities, and drive profitability. You’ll be responsible for both new and existing accounts, helping clients source used OEM products through our global trade-in and leasing programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead Alchemy’s commercial engagement and strategic relationships with key accounts, ensuring outstanding performance and long‑term growth
• Successfully manage inventory, to ensure that all stock is realized to ensure maximum revenue
• Identify, recruit, and develop new customer accounts across Canada
• Deliver profitable business aligned with the strategic vision of the Sales Director – North America
• Maintain and grow existing accounts through credibility, trust, and exceptional service
• Work cross‑functionally with the operations team on device grading, testing, and returns management to ensure operational alignment and client satisfaction
• Handle customer returns, disputes, and issues with professionalism and efficiency
• Promote a culture of high performance by driving excellence across your team and stakeholders
• Regularly engage with global leadership to support the alignment of regional and international strategies
• Act in the best interest of the Alchemy business at all times, upholding company values and demonstrating sound judgment
• Represent Alchemy with professionalism, integrity, and a customer‑first mindset in every interaction
