SENIOR PLANNER – HERITAGE CONSERVATION

JOB SUMMARY:

This position reports directly to the Director of Planning and Development. This position is responsible for managing the City’s Heritage Conservation Service including preparing an annual work plan outlining the City’s Heritage Conservation objectives. This position works as a subject matter expert for the Heritage service and provides administrative support to the City’s Heritage Conservation Board including providing advice on the City’s Heritage Conservation By-laws, heritage applications and policy matters, overseeing the Local Historic Places Register and ensuring that other applicable standards and guidelines of the New Brunswick Heritage Conservation Act are met.
