We are currently recruiting for an Estimator or Senior Estimator to work for an established Canadian owned General Contractor from Ontario that are expanding their presence across Western Canada, including here in the Vancouver region. The company has been in operation for over 40 years and has an excellent reputation. Work is undertaken in various sectors including commercial, residential and institutional with projects ranging in value from $10 - $100m.
The company is looking for an Estimator or Senior Estimator to join the team here in the Lower Mainland of BC. We are looking to identify someone with 5+ years’ local experience as Estimator or above. Ideally you will be comfortable putting together Class D to A estimates. You should have strong technical knowledge, a good work ethic, as well as a track record of successful pursuits. We are open to considering people that have institutional, commercial or multifamily project experience. Ideally you are comfortable closing tenders, providing trade recommendations and you understand the design/build delivery model. You must be a strong relationship builder and have a high level of integrity.
In exchange for your hard work and commitment you will receive a competitive salary of $110,000 - $150,000+ , RSP match, share purchase program, bonus and benefits scheme. The company offers a very flexible work environment that allows remote/hybrid working. We do need people to reside locally so they can attend meetings in person as required etc.
