Parts Specialist - External Customer Support

Reporting to the Parts manager, the Parts Specialist - External Customer Support will ensure that the equipment and parts required for the work are always available, thus allowing the operations to run smoothly. This person will have to provide impeccable service to external customers and it will be his job to carry out inventory follow-ups.

Main Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests (counter, telephone, fax and / or email).
• Evaluate the customers' needs for parts.
• Search for parts using manuals or on various supplier sites (if necessary).
• Prepare quotes in relation to client requests.
• Prepare customer sales orders in the system.
• Check parts availability on the network.
• Check the availability of parts with suppliers.
• Prepare inter-branch orders when necessary.
• Take charge of the parts supply / prepare supplier orders.
• Monitor and control the inventory.
• Follow up and deal with suppliers concerning specific orders and issued quotes.
• Maintain good relationships with clients.
• All other related tasks.

Experience And Desired Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Skilled in a computerized environment.
• Knowledge of industrial parts is an asset.
• Experience in supervising a team is an asset.
