Drive innovation as an Equipment Engineer at NextStar Energy in Windsor, Ontario. This role will have you optimizing machinery performance in a vibrant battery manufacturing environment. At NextStar Energy, you will join a proactive team, focusing on the installation and maintenance of high-tech equipment. This position requires effective collaboration with production teams and technical problem-solving skills to enhance equipment reliability. You will also contribute to training initiatives and document flow for a seamless production process. Key Responsibilities:
- Install and modify production machinery
- Monitor and suggest enhancements for equipment
- Investigate and resolve equipment failures
- Communicate technical information to vendors
- Support implementation of machine modifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline
- Experience in equipment maintenance in manufacturing
- Strong troubleshooting abilities for mechanical systems
- Comfortable in a fast-paced production setting
- Must be authorized to work in US/Canada
