Windsor Development Application Coordinator Role
City of Windsor
Join the City of Windsor as a Development Application Coordinator, focusing on compliance and superior customer service in the permit application process. This temporary role supports community development. This position involves guiding applicants through the complex development application process while ensuring compliance with local zoning and building regulations. Your expertise in engineering or architecture will be valuable as you serve as the primary contact for application inquiries and facilitate the entire process. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers by reviewing applications for compliance
- Conduct reviews under the Building Code Act
- Serve as the main municipal contact for inquiries
- Manage assigned applications through development stages
- Provide legislative responses to customer inquiries
- Completion of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma with post-secondary education
- Over three years of customer service experience
- In-depth knowledge of the applicable building codes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer service training seen as an asset
