Salary: Up to $75K (Based on Experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise agreements of purchase and sale, leases, financing and closing documents;
• Manage transaction files from opening to closing, including due diligence and document organization;
• Coordinate title and off-title searches and review search results;
• Prepare closing documentation and assist with transaction closings;
• Liaise with clients, lenders, and third parties;
• Manage calendars, deadlines, and correspondence; and
• Perform general administrative duties, including scanning and electronic filing.

Qualifications

• Legal Assistant or Law Clerk diploma/certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution
• 3–5 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate
• Strong understanding of legal procedures, documentation, and file management within the applicable practice area
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
• Experience with PDF software, DocuSign, and document management systems such as iManage
• Commercial Real Estate experience with Teraview and Workshare Compare
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to exceptional client service
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
• Sound judgment, discretion, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
