Project Coordinator

Saskatoon Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) provides federal funding to community organizations through the Reaching Home Program.
The Reaching Home Project Coordinator provides administrative and project support to assist with the effective delivery, monitoring, and reporting of funded projects.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct risk assessments, contract and budget negotiations, and prepare agreements for managerial approval.
Conduct on-site financial and activity monitoring of funded projects, identify challenges, and monitor Coordinated Access (CA) and HIFIS compliance.
Process monthly claims, review supporting documentation, track activities, and report on project outcomes.
Identify project risks, challenges, and opportunities for improvement and support organizations in achieving outcomes.
Develop financial, data, and activity monitoring reports and analyze information for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain strong relationships with SHIP staff, community organizations, and stakeholders to support collaboration and communication.
Use Microsoft Office, Excel, Teams, and other technology to manage information and reporting.
Provide occasional presentations to the SHIP Board of Directors.
Perform other duties as required.

**Indigenous Knowledge and Cultural Understanding*
This position requires knowledge of Indigenous cultural practices and an understanding of Indigenous processes. Applicants must demonstrate cultural awareness and an understanding of Indigenous history and its relationship to the homelessness crisis in their cover letter.

Qualifications

Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, such as Indigenous Studies, Social Work, Business Administration, Commerce, data collection, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in administration, project monitoring, evaluation, data analysis, or project coordination is considered an asset.
