Reservations and Operations Coordinator

The Reservations and Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing the best customer experience through daily planning of activities.

Work Location: Luxury In Transit Collection of Homes, in Old Montreal

Status: Full-time

·        Working Schedule: 40 hours/week from Thursday to Monday

Responsibilities include:

·        Verification of reservations made via our web site and third parties to ensure they comply with our policies and procedures

·        Responding to various guests inquiries and sending our recommendations

·        Coordinating between different teams and departments to ensure efficiency of hotel operations and making each stay memorable with positive experience for guests

·        Effectively ensuring smooth arrivals for guests

·        Collaborating in inventory management and suite inspection

·        Ensuring compliance with hotel standards, policies, house rules, and procedures

·        Performing various administrative tasks related to reservations and different teams and departments

·        Keeping the database up to date to ensure the accuracy of various report productions

·        Participating in meetings to stay informed about ongoing promotions, availability, different rates, etc.

Skills and Requirements:

·        Leadership, autonomy, and a proven sense of customer service

·        Team spirit

·        Very good sense of responsibility, organisation, and prioritisation in a fast-paced environment

·        Ability to manage special requests, customer complaints, and complex situations

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·        Good computer skills. Knowledge of hotel management software is an asset

·        Availability to work weekends and holidays

Requirements:

·        High-school diploma; a college degree in hospitality or tourism is an asset.

·        Minimum of 2 years of experience

·        Very good knowledge of English and French, both oral and written, is required for this position.
