Your role in the team

Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, you will be the first point of contact with our guests from the moment of booking. You will provide attentive service, in accordance with Hilton standards, and collaborate with the various departments to ensure a smooth and memorable experience.

Tasks

Customer Service & Communication

• Answer internal and external calls according to Hilton standards.
• Advise customers (individuals, travel agencies, wholesalers, etc.) and respond to their requests (phone, email, in person).
• Provide clear information about the hotel's policies (cancellations, guarantees, special requirements).

Reservations

• Make and confirm room and service reservations.
• Obtain payment guarantees and enter sales.
• Make sales from incoming calls and maximize opportunities.
• Change or cancel bookings, if necessary.
• Track and update allotments and rates in collaboration with the sales team.
• Ensure the proactive management of overbooking situations and propose appropriate solutions.

Coordination and monitoring

• Work closely with reception, sales, banquets and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Keep customer profiles up to date and personalize their experience.
• Communicate relevant information related to hotel operations to internal teams.
• Maintain customer profiles with their preferences
• Any other related duties related to the position.

Timetables

Availability during the day, evening, weekends and holidays. Flexibility and team spirit are essential.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role (reservations, customer service or sales).
• Degree in hospitality or related field (asset).
• Excellent command of French and English (oral and written).
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Rigour, autonomy and sense of organization.
• Ability to conduct monetary transactions.
• Team player and excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of Opera or another booking system (asset).
