Bring extensive insurance defence experience to a hybrid Law Clerk position in Downtown Toronto, supported by strong litigation and file-management skills.
This full-time Law Clerk role supports an established legal organization’s insurance defence litigation practice. You will independently manage complex files, competing deadlines, and significant legal documentation volumes. The position requires thorough litigation knowledge, strong proofreading, and practical judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and oversee demanding litigation workloads independently
- Manage complex files and competing deadlines
- Proofread and edit legal documentation accurately
- Assess priorities as demands change
- Maintain positive client relationships through professional communication
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of litigation law clerk experience
- Direct insurance defence experience is mandatory
- Law Clerk program graduation from an accredited institution
- Thorough knowledge of litigation procedures and applicable rules
- Microsoft Office and legal software proficiency
