Hazardous Materials Project Technologist

Join Pinchin's Hazardous Materials and Indoor Environmental Quality team as a Project Technologist in Timmins, ON. Focus on conducting assessments and inspections to enhance safety in buildings. As a Project Technologist, you will report to the Team Leader while performing crucial assessments related to mould, air quality, and other hazardous materials. Your responsibilities include client interviews, building inspections, and damage assessments, particularly for flood and smoke-related issues. Key Responsibilities:
- Complete assessments for mould and hazardous materials
- Conduct site interviews regarding building history
- Inspect and evaluate various building systems
- Collect air and bulk samples for analysis
- Prepare detailed reports with findings and recommendations
- Diploma in technology/environmental studies or B.Sc. in Engineering
- 1–2 years’ experience in indoor environmental quality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required
- Willingness to travel within Northeastern Ontario
