We are partnering with one of Canada’s leading heavy civil contractors to identify a Project Director to lead major infrastructure projects across British Columbia. This prospect is ideal for a senior construction leader currently working for a heavy civil general contractor who wants to take ownership of landmark projects involving bridges, tunnels, transportation infrastructure, marine works, and complex civil construction.

The Role
As the Project Director, you will provide overall leadership for major infrastructure projects from pre-construction through project completion, overseeing project operations, commercial performance, staffing, scheduling, risk management, client relationships, and project delivery.
You will lead teams of Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, and Commercial Staff while ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably, and on schedule.
What We’re Looking For
- 15+ years of heavy civil or infrastructure construction experience
- Experience working for a major general contractor
- Background in bridges, tunnels, marine works, transportation, structural concrete, or major civil infrastructure
- Proven success leading large multidisciplinary project teams
- Strong commercial, contractual, and operational leadership experience
- Experience with Design-Build, Alliance, or PPP projects is considered an asset
