The Account Manager I – Quebec East and Atlantic Canada for Leica Biosystems is responsible for driving and selling the entire LBS portfolio and for managing all aspects of the business within their region. The Account Manager is backed by specialists that can be called in to facilitate the technical components of the selling and support processes.

This position is part of the Sales team located in Canada and will be fully remote from Montreal or Quebec City in Quebec, or Halifax in Nova Scotia. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

You will be a part of the Commercial Organization and report to the Senior Regional Manager – Canada East responsible for leading the sales division to achieve regional sales and profitability goals within the assigned territory. In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

  • Primary contact for all aspects of LBS for the customer. Sell the entire portfolio of LBS (Histology Consumables, Histology Instrumentation, Advanced Staining Instrumentation, Advanced Staining Consumables, Digital Pathology and Point of Sale Service).
  • Achieve and exceed region’s quarterly and annual sales quota, strategic and unit sales mix objectives, profit goal and market share goals.
  • Forecast monthly revenue projections utilizing the company CRM (Salesforce.com). Drive and provide support on customer evaluations, installations and training across the product lines.
  • Develop, solidify and maintain, high-level relationships within key accounts (including Top 10) in assigned geography. These relationships should include Senior Hospital Management (C-Suite), Laboratory Administration, Department of Pathology, Purchasing and Materials Management, Contracts Administration and other key departments and/or personnel.
  • Maintain competent working knowledge of Danaher Business System tools and utilize such knowledge in all interactions with internal and external customers.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

  • Education: Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of Sales Experience
  • Bilingual, fluency in French and English
  • Computer Skills (E-mail, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM / Salesforce and similar programs)
  • Ability to work / visit Customer Laboratories (No Restrictions)

Travel And Motor Vehicle Record Requirements

  • Ability to travel –50-75% travel, overnight, within territory or locations
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • 5+ years in a similar role is preferable
  • Previous work in Healthcare / Regulated Environment
  • Experience in Histology or Pathology or Molecular is a plus

Le/la Gestionnaire de Comptes I – Québec Est et Canada Atlantique est responsable de la promotion et de la vente de l’ensemble du portefeuille de Leica Biosystems (LBS) et de la gestion de tous les aspects commerciaux dans sa région. Il/elle est soutenu(e) par des spécialistes pouvant intervenir pour faciliter les aspects techniques de la vente et du support.

Ce poste fait partie de l’équipe des ventes située au Canada et est entièrement en télétravail depuis Montréal ou Québec (Québec), ou Halifax (Nouvelle-Écosse). Chez Leica Biosystems, notre vision est de faire progresser le diagnostic du cancer et d’améliorer les vies.

Vous ferez partie de l’organisation commerciale et serez rattaché(e) au Directeur Régional Principal – Canada Est, responsable de la direction de la division des ventes pour atteindre les objectifs de chiffre d’affaires et de rentabilité dans le territoire assigné.

Vos Missions Principales

  • Interlocuteur(trice) principal(e) pour tous les aspects de LBS auprès du client. Vente de l’ensemble du portefeuille : consommables d’histologie, instrumentation d’histologie, instrumentation de coloration avancée, consommables de coloration avancée, pathologie numérique et services au point de vente.
  • Atteindre et dépasser les objectifs de vente trimestriels et annuels, les objectifs stratégiques et de mix produit, les objectifs de rentabilité et de part de marché.
  • Prévoir les projections de revenus mensuels via le CRM de l’entreprise (Salesforce.com). Soutenir les évaluations clients, les installations et les formations sur l’ensemble des gammes de produits.
  • Développer, consolider et maintenir des relations de haut niveau au sein des comptes clés (Top 10) dans la zone géographique assignée. Ces relations doivent inclure la haute direction hospitalière (C-Suite), l’administration des laboratoires, le département de pathologie, les achats et la gestion des matériaux, l’administration des contrats et autres départements/personnels clés.
  • Maintenir une connaissance opérationnelle des outils du Danaher Business System et les utiliser dans toutes les interactions internes et externes.

Exigences Essentielles Du Poste

  • Formation : Baccalauréat en sciences ou en commerce, ou expérience équivalente
  • Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience en vente
  • Bilingue, maîtrise du français et de l’anglais
  • Compétences informatiques (courriel, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM / Salesforce et programmes similaires)
  • Capacité à travailler / visiter les laboratoires clients (aucune restriction)

Exigences en matière de déplacements et de permis de conduire:

  • Capacité à voyager – 50 à 75 % de déplacements, avec nuitées, dans le territoire ou les lieux assignés
  • Permis de conduire valide avec un dossier de conduite acceptable

Atouts Supplémentaires

  • Expérience de 5 ans ou plus dans un rôle similaire
  • Expérience antérieure dans le secteur de la santé / environnement réglementé
  • Expérience en histologie, pathologie ou biologie moléculaire est un plus
