Responsibilities
Accounting Functions (Accounting Technician)
- Enter accounting data into existing systems
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare bank reconciliations and support month-end closing processes
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, tax returns (GST/QST), and other government remittances
- Monitor internal accounting and tax deadlines
Desired Profile
- Training in administration or accounting
- Relevant experience in an accounting technician role
- Fluency in French (oral and written), basic English (an asset)
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office software; Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Caseware) is an asset. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, autonomy, and discretion. Team spirit and excellent communication skills. Desired Experience: Customer service: Minimum 5 years. Accounting experience in a firm or financial environment: Minimum 5 years. Job Details: Hours: 35 to 37.5 hours per week. Salary: $50,000 to $70,000 and up, depending on experience. Type of Position: Permanent, Full-time, Long-term. term
- Work schedule : Monday to Friday (September to June), 4 days/week during July and August
- Location : Ahuntsic
- Paid vacation : 4 weeks or more depending on experience
- Other benefits : On-site parking
