This French Speech Audio Engineer role centers on processing speech recordings for TTS and speech AI systems. You will assess pronunciation, naturalness, and fluency while maintaining technical compliance across large audio batches. The work requires audio restoration knowledge, critical listening, and quality assurance discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit French recordings for TTS and speech AI systems
- Clean silence, breaths, clicks, sibilance, and noise
- Check clipping, distortion, artifacts, loudness, and levels
- Meet technical specifications for machine learning pipelines
- Maintain consistency and throughput across large recording batches
Requirements:
- Native or near-native French fluency and listening intuition
- Experience editing speech or voice recordings
- Understanding of speech audio quality standards
- Experience with iZotope RX, Pro Tools, or similar software
- Ability to identify and correct audio defects
Use French critical listening, audio cleanup, and quality assurance skills to prepare reliable speech datasets for machine learning workflows.
