At Shannex, our Allied Health Services team is dedicated to improving the quality of life for seniors. We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who values collaboration and accountability. You will play a crucial part in evaluating residents, preparing reports, and ensuring each individual receives tailored care based on their unique needs. Key Responsibilities:
• Administer evaluations to assess residents' occupational therapy needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor residents' progress and confer with medical staff
• Prepare reports on therapy treatment and resident progress
• Provide ergonomic training and equipment usage instructions Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Occupational Therapy
• Current registration with Nova Scotia College of Occupational Therapists
• Familiarity with adaptive equipment and therapeutic practices
• Previous healthcare experience preferred
