Lead Optometric Assistant

Job Responsibility:

We are looking for a driven, outgoing and hardworking Assistant Manager/Optometric Assistant to join our team! Candidate must have atleast 3 years of experience as an Assistant Manager in any setting example retail or 3 years as an Optometric Assistant . The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting Dr. Fallon Patel and Associates in leading a team of 5 employees in cultivating eye exams, fitting contact lenses, performing general optical tasks and managing inventory. This is an amazing opportunity to work with a well-established professional who is passionate about the optometry industry.

Responsibilities:

• Explain testing and medical procedures to patients.
• Prepare exam rooms for examinations and conduct physical exams on patients.
• Perform preventative care exams on patients.
• Explain insurance coverage to patients.
• Perform basic laboratory tests such as tonometry, or perform simple procedures, such as fitting contact lenses.

Experience:
