Itinerant Teacher For Deaf Students Burlington

In this long-term occasional role, you will directly support students, Educational Assistants, and Teachers while assessing and remediating critical academic and speech skills. Your expertise will drive the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), while you train staff on effective strategies for meeting the needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized programs for students
Assess speech, language, and academic skills regularly
Maintain communication with classroom teachers and staff
Support IEP development and recent student transitions
Monitor use of specialized equipment for Deaf students
Requirements Qualifications for teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
Specialist certification preferred
Knowledge of curriculum differentiation
Experience with assessment and evaluation tools
Solid collaboration and facilitation skills
