Administrative Technician

Job Responsibility:

JEMM Properties is a niche property developer focused on designing vibrant urban purpose-built rentals. We are currently seeking an experienced Administrative Technician with a passion and desire to be part of a growing community as we build a strong team.

A qualified candidate would have:

• Minimum 3 years of administrative and full-cycle bookkeeping experience
• Completed post-secondary certificate or degree in accounting or administration
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, QuickBooks, Yardi, Ingenious, and Ceridian software tools
• A keen sense and natural affinity for numbers, math, processes, and results
• An eagerness to learn and grow in order to contribute towards collective success
• Strong communication skills to liaise with executive team and key stakeholders
• Excellent problem solving skills and initiative to lead continuous improvement
• Well-Developed critical thinking abilities and versatility to adapt in a fluid setting
• Polite and firm demeanor with a strong orientation to deliver results

Wherein, the candidate would help our team:

• Accurately complete billing and collection activities for development assets
• Input monthly GL entries and adjustments for inter-company transactions
• Ensure bank reconciliations are completed on a monthly bookkeeping cycle
• Run semi-monthly payroll in Dayforce after time entries are approved
• Process enrollments, updates, and terminations for employee benefits program
• Execute HR administration policies, programs, procedures, and processes
• Support recruitment and onboarding administration tasks for new employees
• Maintain SharePoint records for accuracy and completeness on an ongoing basis
• Promptly respond to incoming phone and email communications
• Handle the distribution of mail and courier packages to rightful recipients
• Order and setup workstation equipment and provision access to business systems
• Track all company property, software license renewals, and end user access
• Liaise between Principals and external vendors to support business operations
• Scan, photocopy, and print documentation required by Principals
• Order office supplies and stationery to ensure adequate inventory levels
• Provide reception support for guests visiting our office in a welcoming manner
• Send out company-wide notifications and communications to the team
• Coordinate with the team to complete event planning tasks
• Make travel arrangements for Principals prior to departure dates
